During the operation of the garage door a box was positioned between the tracks out of sight from the safety censors attached to the garage door opener. As the garage door came down the box off set the garage door, bending out the tracks and making the rollers fall out from the hinges. With the tracks bent out of shape, the use of the garage door can be dangerous if lifted into the air. The way of fixing the garage door is by changing out the tracks and replacing the bent hinges due to misalignment. The cable on top of the garage door un-spooled from the drum causing further misalignment. After bringing down the door and taking pressure off the tension springs the cables were re-spooled onto the drums. Hinges replaced and tracks changed, the operation of the garage door came back to the way they were. The garage door opener was not damaged due to safety protocols preprogrammed into the mother board.
